Inspired by the upcoming Abstraction Exhibition at Projects Gallery, I decided to spend a bit of time focusing on composition and color as well as experimenting with a few new ideas. In both its name and production, “Overpass” expresses a duality of the found object, or in this case, found location, and an abstraction of that location’s form.
