Even though I am constantly snapping photos of my little one, rarely do we take the time take more formal portraits – partly because we like to spend our “off time” playing and partly because she puts up a little bit of a fight.  You see, she’s on to me and tries to dodge the lens as best she can.

This weekend however, we pulled it together and headed out for her Fall/Winter portraits.  As usual, I had a clearly defined vision of how I wanted things to go. And wonder of wonders, everything was perfect.  Well, as perfect as we can get!

This is a little piece of my heart…

She may have had a bit of excess energy…but then again, belting out her favorite song always elevates the mood!
