Pass a spot with great image potential. Circle the block. Perform what may or may not pass for parallel parking. Hop out, run across the street and take the shot.

I usually don’t do that. If I am engaged in a different agenda, I usually make a mental note of the spot and resolve to try it again on another day. Another day that may allow more time, may be warmer, may be easier to find it less awkward to hop out of the car and randomly take a few photos.

New resolution: stop the car and take the photo. Well, after properly parking that is. It definitely worked for today:
