Thursdays are reserved for play. The little one and I try to carve out time to do something different, branch out, expand our horizons. In all honesty, she’s four – her horizons aren’t that wide yet. So, finding something new and exciting is not that difficult. Today, however, we managed a first for both of us. We went for a little stroll around Chinatown followed by lunch and browsing at the Reading Terminal Market.
I have to say that the first few moments after stepping inside the doors is a bit of sensory overload. Lights, signs, food, people in all directions. Our first lap was taken merely to gain our bearings. Or, in her case, to locate the candy shop. We walked, talked, ate, and window shopped.
It was a great day – full of color, novelty and quality time. We will be returning soon, with bigger bags. We both ran through the images from the morning and chose our favorites together. The first one below is of course her top pick.
Enjoy your evening!
