Last Friday marked the first pick up for our 2012 CSA season…we were all too excited to get our basket of veggies and visit with the our friends at Longview Market. Tiny Assistant helped pick our own garlic chives and supervised my selection of carrots and fresh lettuce. She may have snacked on a lettuce leaf or two while she waited. Of course, as always, we strolled around to see what was sprouting up out back:
